Introduction:

The future of dairy is not just about scale—it’s about sustainability. At Himmel, we integrate eco-conscious practices and community partnerships into every step of our production.

Main Content:

1. Women SHGs
We actively collaborate with women-led Self Help Groups (SHGs) across Tripura. These women handle everything from milk collection and quality testing to packaging support. It provides them with income, training, and dignity—empowering both families and the regional economy.

2. Zero Waste
Every drop of whey from paneer and chhena production is either reused in beverages or supplied to cattle farms as protein feed. Packaging is 90% biodegradable, and waste water is recycled for landscape irrigation or non-potable use after treatment.

3. Renewable Energy
Our facility is partially solar-powered. We also use biogas derived from dung and whey fermentation to fuel boilers. These measures reduce our carbon footprint and make Himmel a model for green dairy entrepreneurship.

Conclusion:

Sustainability is not a checkbox—it’s a belief. Himmel’s journey proves that profit and planet can co-exist. By choosing our dairy, customers become a part of a cleaner, kinder, and more inclusive supply chain.
